My name is Erobin. I live in South Carolina. My channel, Erobin Outdoors, is for anyone interested in the outdoors. If you enjoy the outdoors you might like my channel. I hope so anyway.
I've always said that I make videos of the things I love. Things like Guns, Knives, Pipes, Bushcraft, Backpacking and more. I enjoy taking you along with me on my adventures. And if I buy a product that I absolutely love, sometimes I'll share it with you in a review.
I'm battling with stage four Medullary Carcinoma, aka Thyroid Cancer. But, I've decided not to let that stop me from doing the things that I love and making videos about those things. I hope you'll enjoy my videos and consider subscribing.

Переглядів 9212 роки тому
In this video I share a complete review and firing of the Henry AR7 Survival Rifle. Is it up to all of the hype since 1980? Henry firearms took over production of this gun in 1980. It was originally designed by Armalite and called the AR5. It was used by U. S. Air Force pilots as part of thier survival pack. Watch this video and then you can decide... is it worth all the hype?

10 Things Every Man Should Know How To Do
Gonna be the first one to wear this awesome thing in my town in germany. I Love western Style. With my stetson🎉
Great and helpful review, Erobin! My coworker is looking to get her first pocket knife, and I was thinking of getting this one for her as a gift as she said she loves the look of this one. This review told me everything I need to know! ^-^
The char inside means your cook heat was too high. Try to lower the heat. To clean I boil water in the pan and scrape at the burned stuff best I can, then I empty out the water and scrub with baking soda if the burned stuff is not to old.
I think the alcohol dry up to fast. I'm trying a little sprayer for it to cotton and start for asap. I'm still needing to do test. Thank you for assisting in that
Phenomenal review, are these the same ones for 2024 ? I just bought my XL 13 piece camo finish two hours ago ? . Cheers 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Me and a buddy used to wear these back in 1999
It's an ok knife. I like mine. And I also am a fan of BG. Do what he writes and not what he does for ratings.
Just watched a video about his top flite golf set, watched his updated bag, came to the channel to see if there was further updates only to see this. Im 2 years late but watching the two vids ive seen i hope bro is resting easy and the family is doing good. Shocking tbh because big E seemed like a fun guy to have golfed with. Prayers for family and friends for our separate journeys 🙏
Excellent job! Couldn’t ask for more detail! Good luck next time your out on the links!!😉
Those gloves are the cleanest I've ever seen. Makes total sense you had this knife for that long. Hell, it'll probably last YOU a lifetime 🤣
You realize that... some people use gloves daily, then get new ones? Jackass.
What happened to ya buddy dipping snuff or smoking or just had bad luck I dip about 3 cans a day and smoke about 4 cigarettes a day
It's really good nick knife thanks for sharing 🥰
WhY dO yOu DrEsS lIKe A CoWbOy? Gtfo. Because I can! Why do you have to talk? Why do you have to breathe? Why do you have to wear clothes?? There’s always an idiot out there. Wear what you want. Don’t waste your time explaining to anyone why you wear what you wear. I wear western clothes all the time but I don’t go running around in spurs, chaps and calling myself a cowboy. It’s a great western style. You got people dressing up like cats. 😐
Judge Holden from Blood Meridian
The oil skin material was invented by a Kiwi by the name of Edward Le Roy, who served on sailing vessels. The duster or riding coat originated in Australia using Edward's method of treating cotton material, to make water resistant.
Good knives custom shop m tech is what they are. But very good
Great job, grandpa
Great video and intro for me someone getting into black powder
Where are they made?
Great review thank you
I haven't seen Gen. MacArthur
If people want some almost exactly the same from Australia look at the driza-bone
It would have been nice if you'd put names on the photos, or listed them in order for those who are unfamiliar with them.
I don’t see the issue with the question. I think the same when I see folks dressing this way
The Clark Gable pick is photoshopped, you can see where the pipe stem is cut off...Cronkite and Crosby smoked pipes...Ford smoked a pipe...as did Twain...the rest are movie stills
Bought my duster about '96, or so, best purchase of my life, as far as jackets go. Wore it just today, and still love its style and utility. Get you one.
It’s oiled/waxed COTTON- that’s what makes it oilskin and not waxed fabric. It’s far more durable than just waxed fabric… I have some waxed items and it’s a totally different feel altogether… I actually make my own mix and oil/wax my own stuff occasionally… I’m in SC as well, but I opted for the new liner with the cotton shell. It’s pretty comfy, and I have a shearling ushanka to complete the outfit🤓
You made my heart lock up every time you called the mighty Cooper and Wando rivers the Ashlely river. The Ashley is on the west side of Charleston neck. Basically behind all them steeples across the river from ya.
I mostly dress like a cowboy because of my Mexican Heritage, both my parents grew up in Mexico and came to the US for a better life, I was born here but then raised a little bit in Mexico but then came back. I started dressing like this to show how much I love my Mexican culture and the freedom I have in the US. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽!! And long live the United States!🇺🇸
What is written on the barrel ? The reason I ask is I found a rifle that looks like the one You're shooting . The one I found has written on the barrel : 50 cal , made in Spain & the warning.
Use the other shoulder ... should go wrong if you pull it with sharp edge in direction to you neck ?! 😮😉
That small gas station cutting tool you call a knife is emberassing sir
Originally designed for sitting on a horse, hence the length and the leg straps. I have had one for ages too, I like it because unlike shorter jackets the rain does not run off onto your thighs which then get soaked., worn with a pair of wellies and a good hat and you are covered from head to toe. Can be rolled up neatly as well.
I thought this video was very well made, details to bag and what to have at the course had much value. For being new and gonna start to play, this helps me to consider what to purchase, but more importantly, what to have with you on the course!
What happened to him
Awesome video. Thank you
Wear this on my motorcycle. Excellent peice of gear
How does that work? I’m afraid to ride in mine because of the hot pipes, and I’m afraid it’ll all flap in the wind too much as well 🙈
Me gustaria saber quien es la famosa del minuto 2: 09
Andy MacDowell
Ram rod is that jabby thang under the barrel
Who is the lady @2:08?

I got pepper straight in my book bag right now.
I have a Paton stick in my butt bag.
Nice video my friend.
Just discovererd this very cool dude and now see that he has passed. Condolences to the family. He seemed like a good hearted, straight talking man and had something worthwhile to say in his vids. RIP.
TR-you are spot on! For what its worth, I buy knives the way I buy bourbon. First, I try to familiarize myself with a bunch of different brands, and price points. Along the way, I toss obvious losers and hold on to winners. Then I rank the winners and organize according to cost. Obviously, while I might love Pappy Van Winkle, I'm not ready to shell out $1500. for a bottle every time I want a sip. So I find my everyday bourbon. Might be Old Forester 1920 or Elijah Craig barrel proof. Now I can drink with the knowledge that I won't go broke feeding my bourbon habit. There are some great deals out there with some coming very close to the Holy Grail bourbons that I referred to earlier. Same goes for knives. I am still a novice, still working my way through a field of very low cost knives but already, I have learned some important lessons. I have been lured to buy knives that are real 'purty' but are poorly made. All form and no function. Cherokee Stoneworks and Frost cutlery are in this group. I have found some knives in the 60-100 range that are excellent but still somewhat pricey. The Buck 547 open season folder falls into this category and I found a bunch for sale at DLT for 60 bucks with leather sheaths. I bought them all. These are premium knives with S30V blades, real walnut handles and a beautiful design ethos. Then I discovered Elk Ridge knives. I stumbled on the ER-519 for $15 and bought one. Somewhat similar to the Buck 547, it is has maple burl scales, a 440C mirror polished blade and a knockout design. Liner lock, opens smoothly and locks securely with no blade wiggle. There is an attractive laser cut out of an elk head on the blade as well. Most impressive, it came with a razor-sharp blade that surpassed most of the other knives in my growing collection. In my quest, I have learned a lot so I feel like I know a good knife when I see one and these knives are impressive. I haven't checked out other Elk Ridge knives but if this one is representative, well, it's a hell of a knife. I will definitely check out the Bushcraft knives you reviewed and remember, when it comes to knives, it's not what you need, it's what you want.
I want one that truly water proof. I work in weather where the rain can come at any direction. I hate wearing jacket and pants because they tend to hinder my mobility and the wind will blow under the jacket.
You can also modify the sheath by removing half of the plastic circle, then your finger will not get caught between knife and sheath. They have youtube videos of how to do it.
Use a Zippo lighter to warm it up then light the hand warmer and I had to place a couple drops of fluid on it to ligjt it without a Zippo lighter ! They have aluminum refill containers that fills up a hand warmer or a Zippo has a holder for a flint a screw driver a clip too fule cell aluminum made by Zippo ten bucks !
They make a hand warmer zippo fluid but I never found it so I use Zippo lighter fluid they own Tonsen too but Zippo fluid is like high test Ronsen regular it will work on Coleman white gas and Naptha i have herad ! Spent many winters on heavy equipment with a Zippo hand warmer in my down vest in New Hampshire cold winters !
HAD ONE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS!! GOING TO MODIFY/MILL SAW TEETH, -TO SAWBACK BAYONET PATTERN!!!
